Scheduling Sessions

Learn at your convenience! Portal Tutoring does not restrict education to normal working hours. If at all possible, Portal Tutoring will accommodate your schedule.

Scheduling your lessons with Portal Tutoring is easy. Simply click on the Contact Portal Tutoring link to send an email.

Dates and Times

Some dates and times are already scheduled. Refer to the following dates for exclusions.

Monday evenings, September through June
Wednesday evenings, September through June
Saturday evenings after 6:00 PM
Sunday until 200 PM

Other times are available on a first come, first served basis.

Portal Tutoring reserves the right as to when the tutor is available. Generally, instruction times are from 08:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Eastern Time, U.S. Telephone calls to Portal Tutoring should be restricted to these hours as the business is located in Ms. Parsons' home.

Portal Tutoring has reserved the right to close its doors for the following dates and on the following holidays.

Holy Thursday through the following week, classes resume on the Monday after Easter Monday
Memorial Day Weekend
July 4th
August 1st through Labor Day Weekend, Lessons resume on the Tuesday after Labor Day.
Wednesday before Thanksgiving through that weekend, Lessons resume on the Monday after Thanksgiving.
December 24th to January 2nd. Lessons resume on January 2nd.

We offer tutoring at the following locations:

Portal Tutoring's office
Your own home in the Rochester, NY area
A location suited to both tutor and student, e.g. a library or agency or school.
Distance learning
