Ms. Ann K. Parsons is the sole proprietor and tutor of Portal Tutoring. She has been in business since December of 2004.
Ann K. Parsons has been tutoring high school and adult students since 1978. She has a B.A. in English Education, an M.S. in Guidance and Personnel, plus thirty hours in teaching the blind and visually impaired. In addition, Ms. Parsons has a certificate of completion from Access Technology Institute for her participation in the Train The Trainer course: adaptive Technology. Ms. Parsons' teaching experience includes
- classroom teaching
- extensive one-on-one tutoring of high school and college students in English and History
- Four years experience teaching blind and visually impaired adults Adaptive Technology, and Braille
