O Fram`ed Love

Oh Fram`ed Love Oh Fram`ed love Whose colors strong and bright, Depict their darkness vanquish`ed by light, Oh love whose hues, as music soft and low, When seen and heard together grace besto. Oh fram`ed love whose joy transcends all art, Whose courage given, strengthens those apart, Oh love whose folded wings may soon unfirl, To take them to an unimagined world, Oh love whose frame is made of plainest wood, To others seeming cheap and less than good, With corners dinged and varnish pealed away, Its guilt is tarnished in the light of day. Yet though this frame is tawdry cheap and worn, 's'true image bideth, ne'er to be foresworn.
